The BHB will be in hosting the SECOND Annual 'Terry Scott Musician's Memorial Jam' on Saturday, June 7th, 2008, at TJ's House of Music in Keokuk, IA from 11:00 a.m. and running to 1:00 a.m. This is going to be a 14-hour event, with most of the day being held outside on 5th Street!! The City of Keokuk gave us permission to block off 5th Street from Main to Johnson. There will be 2 outdoor stages being utilized from the start of the event at 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. At that time, the festivities will move indoors of TJ's House Of Music, with music continuing from 8:00 p.m. until 1:00 a.m. Proceeds from various stands and activities will benefit the Keokuk Kid Zone program. While we are glad to raise funds for that program, we are really here to keep alive in memory, the musicians that have passed on and are now playing in "Heaven's Band".

The 2007 Musician's Memorial Jam was such a success, we had to move the event outdoors to make it more enjoyable to a lot more people, and to make it so each band will get to play an hour set instead of 30 minute set. Time slots are at full capacity for this event, so come on out and listen to a variety of musical talent perform throughout the day. There will be activities for children, face painting, and a dunk tank, and food will be provided on the premises by Medicine Eagle Council, Inc. Soda and water will also be available on the grounds. Beer and other drinks are available at TJ's House of Music. Bring your family and your lawn chairs as seating is limited. No charge for this event; just come on out and enjoy!
